You can get an integrated after-market for a whole lot less than buying piece-parts from your local dealer. Check ACKITS or AAPAK - Auto Air Conditioning, Parts and Kits for price and availability. I bought from both for repair parts and an add-on for my Ranger. Back then it was a little over $600 for the full r-134 kit. I put an entire unit in my 63 F100 , all brand new, from Hot Rod Air (Same stuff as Vintage Air) for $600.00, with under dash outlets. That also gives you an entire new heater, as well (I just removed the stock unit). I had to do some fabbing, but nothing radical.
