My front porch this weekend. I wish it was 70 degrees around here all the time.
I hate to say it but snow in May is pretty usual here in Colorado, hopefully its just wet snow and not the deep freezing stuff. Heck, we had it snow on us one 4th of July when we were camping one year.
I thought about using some old blankets or something to cover the flowerbeds and flower boxes. Would that work?
I'm supposedly in the South and it's going down to 37 tonight. I am real tired of being cold. Seems to me it started early this fall too. Once in awhile we will get a pleasant 2 or 3 days in a row, and then right back to this crap.

Yes the blankets will help. The cold wont last long so it will help to hold in the ground heat, and act as a wind breaker.
Keep that cold weather in CO Lisa, I will be there next month and I would love to wear a jacket again.
LOL! Never, ever have I had the desire to need to wear a coat. Ugh...I hate excess clothes..I am the type that only wears my jacket if it gets extremely cold. 25 degrees or less.

Always. 365 days a year. Unless of course it gets real windy or we have a storm rolling in, and then i'll bring it in until the storm is over. I won't let it touch the ground. My grandpa was a Marine, WW2 veteran and survived Siam. It's my way of remembering him, and the sacrifices of all of the other thousands of soldiers who do what they do, every day. Including you, Chris.
