Doing 6637 right now - HELP!

So I have everything put together as I thought it should be....

Do I need to remove the battery box and do something to it, or not?

Does the filter just get squished a bit on the top?

My hood isn't quite closing as I thought it should. The edge of the filter is lined up with the edge of the hood (side), it doesn't slide under like I thought it should?

I have the battery box out now, but don't know if I actually need to do anything to it before it goes back in.

Thanks for any help!

2 valium, 3 bud lites....

Battery stays where it is. Old filter box is out. Yes, some hoods have been known to put a little crease in the filter, it's okay, it only loses 50% effiency at that point. (j/k)

You wont feel alot of difference probably none. It will just sound louder and help the engine breathe better. It is a long road of mods from here, have fun.

I did my 6637 last week in my Exursion and love that new sound! Where can I get Pete's cover? Exhaust is next for me also.

I tilted mine a bit, the end of the filter down lower near the fender. It doesn't hit the hood at all.

Good luck with your mod, enjoy it!

I just did mine tonight and noticed that turning the end on the CCV helped smooth things out.
