INJECTORS

How often should injectors be replaced. I have a 4X4 '93 F150 W/302 EFI with bad gas mileage. I've put in K&N filter, new plugs, wires, rotor, cap, O2 sensor, and jacked with the timing. Still seems to "hesitate" occationally while driving with cruise control on (especially 30-40 mph). I've run three tanks with varying priced injector cleaners in it. Still get about 13mph! New injectors?

INJECTORS

You're starting in the right direction with ensuring your motor is running properly... Now check the gearing on the rear end; watch your driving habits; check those tires to make sure they are properly inflated; automatic transmission? - make real sure that it is adjusted and operating efficiently.

I've got a '96 Eddie Bauer Bronco that has a cumlative average gas mileage of 15.9 mpg - I usually run about 15.5 around town and will hit the high 17's and low 18's on the road at 70 mph (on cruise control). I have the 351 Windsor which I believe gives me a better horsepower to weight ratio than you will be able to get with your 302.

At least we both have our Fords!!!
