Question Fuel saving mods question.

We are down to using both the 01 F series trucks. The others sit most of the time. We are each driving 50-70 miles each way to work every day. Both trucks are stock. Both have caps and carry some weight, maybe 2k on the 350 and 1k on the 250. What mods can we do to save some money? Will the 6637 and gutting the cat save anything? Or a chip? Or? Thanks for any help.

I've posted before, but a 2x4 block about 2" long screwed to the bottom of the pedal will do the most good. Other than that, you seem to have it covered. Keeping your tires inflated and all your fluids fresh.

I didn't have a cat on my 01. Btwn my exhaust, 6637, AIH delete, and 10K I got at least 2mpg better. As said above, keep her under 2K rpm and you'll see pretty good results. Baby the go pedal. I bet my MPGs are better after the tuner, but I don't have the brains to stay out of it for a tank full.

Go for it, I'm sure you could sell it on Ebay.
