Haven't been on in ages, too busy and just enjoying old 'Mater. I'm getting real tired of the old Holley 1904, though. The carb is lousy. It's been rebuilt by the best carb guy around, but it' seems to be just a fairly lousy design. The accelerator pump circuit is junk.
What I'd like to do is replace the carb with something more reliable. I even thought about finding a Weber, but would prefer something more from the era. It has the 215-6. Anybody have any thoughts about a carb replacement?
