Bucking under load

Could be your MAF sensor. They are easy to remove and clean with electronics cleaner. Then re-install after it air drys.
Hope this helps...

Probably a COP, boot or plug. Who did your plugs?

Reset the PCM after the MAF clean - disconnect the battery and leave it for a few hours with the headlight switch on.
Did you get the plug back into the air filter housing where the MAF wires go through?
Also, check for vacuum leaks.
I was going to say check fuel pressure, but if it stopped the constant bucking under load by cleaning the MAF, that's not the issue

Also...after resetting the PCM...make sure to do the following "learn" strategy...
#1. 10 minutes of continuous highway driving
followed by
#2. 20 minutes of continuous city driving (stop and go)
Hope this helps...

Any problem under load and the first thing I would change is the fuel filter.
Don't overlook it.

The first thing I did was change the fuel filter. It seemed to make it worse.
I'll try resetting the computer again today.

agrred, pull out a good old odb2 scanner and see if you have any codes, if you don't have a code reader drop by your local auto zone, I've heard they do it for free
Best of luck tracking down your problem

Thats what I'm thinking now after reading posts on COPs. Any easy way of finding the bad one, I dont know anyone with a scanner. Could you tell by looking at the plugs? Or should I just buy a new COP and keep swiching it till I find the bad one.
Also I noticed today a sound like valves tapping. Oh I tried resetting the computer today, no luck.
