Any one know where the sending unit is on the 96 5.8l my books dont have that info for some reason mine has gauges not the lights.

well for starters you have idiot gauges
at 7 psi the switch goes on and the gauge goes to the same spot
the sending unit is below the thermo housing and above the oil filter
it is mounted to the side of the cam chain cover behind the water pump
best to see it fron down under
