exhaust choking???
Ok guys i have a 77 F100 with a 351W witrth a set of ported GT40 heads and a lunati voodoo cam lift: .522''/.538'' Duration: 268°/276° preformer rpm air gap with a 750 double pumper.truck has 1.5" primary long tubes and 2" exhaust with a set of homemade muffler (hollow).
How much do you think i could benifit going to a 2.5" system with the current headers.Or do i need to try to find a 1-5/8 tube?

A 2.5" system should make a huge difference. IMO, the 2" system was too small for the stock 351. If you have any more or bigger ideas for breathing mods I would upgrade the headers too.
Explain the homemade mufflers. They are just hollow muffler casings?
