Power window install
hey there, new member here. just wondering if anyone has converted their manual windows to power windows on their ranger, and if so how much work was involved.
any answers would be much appreciated!

I did mine last year, depends on how you do it. I got mine from a 97 that had rolled over so i got the inner panels all the switches etc. Still took some time as I had to fabricate the wire harness, install a fuse panel, etc. If you are going the fdonor vehicle route and you can have it just outside of where you are working that would be great. If like mine you have to do with just what you get you will not have the GEM moduls (no biggie) and the factory wire harness. Right now I need to know what a temp sensor for an over head consul looks like so I can try to find one. But I have installed power driver seat, manual seat from a explorer, the dual visor assembly, the power door stuff (locks didnt work they were bad) but I also have remote door locks.
As to the aftermarket, some folks have written that they work (slow) and are not really all that great.
