Starting problem help
1993 F150 4X4 4.9.
The engine turns over 6 or 7 times before starting then struggles and dies. Starts up the second time and idles good. Does anyone know why it turns over so many times to start then dies??? any help appreciated.

It sounds like the fuel lines are lossing pressure while engine is not running.
Install a pressure gauge and check pressure while running and take a closer look after stoping engine, check pressure from time to time to see what happend.
