two tone paint need some thoughts

hi guys i have a 06 f150 screw its med wedge blue and silver along the bottom i have had it off roading and hit a deer and the now the silver along the bottom has scratches and looks bad what i wanted to do is maybe line-x the silver paint i like you guys opinions on this or maybe do something differnt any idea would be appericated

I've seen a couple of superduties around here (in ky) with that done. Each of them have also Line X'd the bumpers, and any grill guards they have. It looks pretty rugged, could be cool.

I've seen a few and I think it looks nice.

My question is, is there any possibility that moisture can work it's way behind the line x coating and create a corrosion problem?
