I just replaced the steering coupler ( rag joint) on my '65 F100 352 3-speed column shift. When I got in there I realized that the lower bearing in the steering column near the steering box was worn out. Is there a column repair kit? I searched and couldn't find the bearing(s) I need. Any ideas?
Also, I am in need of a horn insulator (horn honks whenever I turn the wheel) It appears that there used to be a plastic sleeve of some sort that goes into horn ring that insulates the horn spring brush assembly from grounding until you push the horn ring down.
If anybody can point me toward a part number or supplier, I would be appreciative!

NPD Has the steering column bearings. You will need (2). One for the top and one for the bottom. Both are not shown on most catalogues. I recently ordered them and replaced them = peice of cake.

If Im not mistaken, you can still get the column brgs from Ford...the bad brgs is prolly why the horn blows when you dont want it...my lower bearing is dead and over time its frayed or cut my horn contact wire inside the column...
