My MusHY Trans

Well was screwing with the truck and put in the 10k / 22k mod the other day just to see how much effect it had. It makes it much quicker off the line and through 3rd/4th. But the problem is my trans - when i did this the trans felt like MUSH. Couldn't even tell when it shifted! Took out the 10K and it acted "normal" (bit less crappy). These transmissions are just terrible. I feel like theres jello in there, will a VB fix this? is this a sign of bad things to come?

Looks like your soon to be list needs to happen. Not to sure about the trans situation. Do you have gauges, and if so has the trans gotten hot lately? How long has the fluid been in there? Start saving for a trans if that one has 282k on it.

I have 150k on my tranny and when it dies (hopefully soon) an ATS or Suncoast is going in

Forget the 10k and get a DP-TUNER and BTS-VB. That way you will have the shifting on the spot and more power then you can imagine.

Just was experimenting. Took it out quickly due to lame shifts and its like a cheap power upgrade. I will have enough Cash after i pay for the oil pan replacement (engine pull) and start working my butt off this summer
