Alternator

Well, my alternator died tonight on the way home from the store. Needed a couple bottles of vino. Lights dimmed then went out and the truck died. Only 1 mile from home. Towed it home. Should I replace with stock alternator or upgrade? If I upgrade what are my choices. I have no real increased power demands. I occassionally pull a 5th wheel camper.

I did a search and read many posts but did not find an answer that seemed to fit.

Thanks.

I went with the large case 140amp HD from High Output Alternators. Its been working great so far.
