Not sure if this goes here but on my 07 f150 im not sure where to run a power wire for my amp. Im sure you guys have done it so im looking for a little help. The firewall looks a little crowded and was wondering where to pull it through. Thanks for any help!
i posted a thread on this a few months ago. use the search and just type in power wire!
however, i used the rubber grommet next to the gas pedal!
make sure you get more than 18ft of power wire because you'll have to come all the way across the engine bay. i had to do something funky to add another 3 feet of wire to my stuff!
If you use the grommet hole behind the battery the run back to the amp is the shortest possible. Better than under the chassis, better than crossing over to the drivers side grommet. If you go to any of the audio-specific F150 foruims (here or at f150 dot com) the consensus is that behind battery is best. Don't forget to fuse the line, and you might also want to do a big 3 or 4 wire upgrade while you're at it!
