1953 cab

My stock '53 cab leans a little to the driver side. I believe that the "wing" type bracket under the front driver side mount it bent slightly and was cracked. I was able to get a small crack here welded to keep it from getting worse. Until I do a body-off-frame resto, I think I can loosen cab while still on frame, pry it up slightly and add some type of shim or another rubber mount to level cab out. It leans about 1-2 inches. Rear cab arms are new, as are all the front mounts. Other than the steering column to dash bolts, aren't there a few bolts that hold the front sheet metal to the cab that could be loosened and then re-bolted?

Take out the bolts inside the cab that holds the front fender on; take the two front bolts out and you should be able to raise it 1-2 inches with taking the rear cab arms off. I will have to do this when I get the time to install the front cab rubber bushings and metal plates.
