Okay, well, it's EGR. Exhaust gas recirculation. Not picking on your spelling, just letting you know so that a search here will be useful.
You are, I assume, getting your head gaskets replaced by a dealership under warranty. They will NOT be willing to delete your EGR for you. It is a mandatory emissions component, just like a catalytic converter.
