302 Flywheel

HI All, I just purchased a 302 that came out of a 1980 Mustang that is missing the flywheel. Does anyone on the list have one laying around that they might want to get rid of? I will be bolting a C4 to the engine and it will be going in a 53 F100. Please e-mail me off list, thanks.

I paid only $45.00 for a new flywheel for my 302 on my truck the mustang can't be much different unless maybe you have a standard trans and then it is only like $60.00

You actually want to purchase a flexplate to mate with the C4. Make sure you get the correct counter balanced weight. Some 302s used a 28 1/2 oz weight, while others used a 50 oz counter weight depending on the year. PAW sells them really cheap (I think they are only around $20).

Theres alot of differances with Ford flexplates...They acutuly have pictures of them at a trans parts place...by the way Chevys old v-8s don't have this problem
