I plan on loading up theExcursion, the wife and kids hittin the road and seeing some of AZ this weekend. What are some good sites to see Sedona? thanx in advance for your opinions.

slide rock sounds cool the kids are used to swimmin in alaska so i think thell be fine thanks for the info.

 

Lots in the Cottonwood, Camp Verde, Sedona area. Fort at Camp Verde, the Verde River, Old Town Cottonwood, Clarksdale, & Jerome. Montezuma Castle, Montezuma's Well, & Tuzzigoot. Oak Creek Canyon where Slide Rock is. There is more to see in that area than you can see in a weekend.

if money permits a helicopter flight over Sedona is absolutely breath taking.

 

I remember going around Sedona in the early 70s on all the trails. My ex-wifes cousins where born & raised there. Her cousin had a Jeep. This was long before the PINK JEEPS.
