Been having a hesitation problem when going about 35mph. Feels like a slight "bucking". When going faster or even 25mph it doesn't seem so bad. I had the tranny rebuilt, but this was before and after the rebuild. Just replaced the fuel filter, thinking maybe it was that, but it wasn't.
I do have the "service engine soon" light on for an EGR overflow problem that I have to get a solonoid for, but could that be causing the hesitation/bucking problem?
I was thinking maybe an oxygen sensor issue too...
It only seems to be happening if my foot is slightly on the peddle doing that speed. If I drive up to 40+mph and take my foot off the peddle I don't feel the "bucking/hesitation".
i would be suprised if it was the egr solinoid as we don't have much problem with them anymore.. I suspect that you have a pcm code p 0401,p0402 and is most likey the dpfe senso which may still be under warrenty. these will give a slight hesition / traile hitch effect Good luck

That would be under warranty at 90K+?
The last error code that was ready said it was an EGR overflow.
This DPFE sensor - are they expensive and easy to replace?
easy to replace your self about 5 minutes i think they run around 100.00 can that's hoow egr gas is measured is by the dpfe sensor If the solenoid was stuck open the unit would run very rough an maybe stall at idle.
I had an issue with my dpfe on a 98, felt a lot of hesitation at low speeds. What had happened is it melted the plastic upstream portion. Threw a couple codes after a couple days. Pinpointed the issue when I saw the melted part so I went to replace it and they had a new design that i haven't had an issue with yet, don't think it was quite $100, I'm thinking it was less than $50, but very easy to change, 2-3 bolts, pop two small hoses off, and thats that.
Sweet! thanks for the heads up! The light went out and was out for a few days. Was a little harder to start up this morning, and then the light came back on. Guess I should get it fixed asap!
