I just got my XCal3 and custom tunes today. I am anxious to load the tunes but want to be sure I do it right. I have the custom tunes loaded on the XCal3 and need you guys with experience to give me step by step instructions on loading into my truck. Is it necessary to remove fuses as stated in the manual or can I just plug it in to ODBII port and program without having to worry about it? Anxious to try out the tunes!
Thanks guys. I just like to be a little over cautious sometimes. I have the street, aggressive tow and economy tunes from Innovative. Will load street first and see what it does. Thanks again.

I just got mine from Eric also, let me know what you think of the street tune? I loaded the economy tune..for obvious reasons!
Loaded the street tune before leaving work to try it out. My drive isn't very far only 16 miles and mostly city so I can't say much yet. Did feel like a lot more power and better shifting but I will hold overall judgement until I have driven on it for a few days. I couldn't resist getting on the throttle for a couple of short bursts, felt good!
Do you guys know if the get stock file on the software makes a copy of the stock file and leaves the original on the device. I want a backup copy of my stock file in case something happens. Read a couple of posts where people say they lost their files somehow.

It will however it's a different format and not directly usable, but it would come in handy if you need a stock file because you can send it to SCT to be formatted and they'll email it back to you ready to go. I went through this myself...Tippmann87 got me the info I needed and SCT did the rest!

I'm running the "Economy" tune, the drivability is great! very smooth shifts and get up and go when I need it! Easily could be a daily driver tune, I can't wait to try the "Street" tune and eventually the "Street Extreme"...Thanks Eric! I appreciate it!
Let me know how the economy tune does mileage wise. I am going to run the street tune for a tank and see if I get better/worse or the same as stock. I have to say the street tune seems to have a lot of get up and go. The one thing I have noticed is when running down the highway in cruise, when I tap the brake to disengage the cruise it drops out a lot harder. Don't know that I like that.
