well i replaced the napa cps with the gray ford sensor...same problem....just recieved my auto enginuity scanner. i have a head ache just reading the book...to be continued when i figure this out....cant wait to get my truck straightened out

 

It's kind of overwhelming at first, but get the codes read and we'll go from there.

Without knowing the fault codes, it is just a guessing game.. Does the engine ever miss and run rough..? Mine had a intermitted miss and SES light and code of P1316. It was the under the valve cover plastic junk of a connector just separated by almost a 1/4".. easy to fix.. no parts for buy. You can reuse the valve cover gaskets.. I just made a shim to slip behind the locking tabs (which warped from the heat and oil).. see my pic gallery for a loose and tight connector and home made shim..
