Explorer axles
Could an Explorer 8.8 rear axle be swapped into a '95 F150? I know little about Explorers, and cannot find information about spring types, w/w spacing, lug bolt pattern, etc.
I they're the same width and have the same pattern, I'd like to swap one with disc brakes into my truck.

Explorer axles are set up spring under, but I don't think it's a big deal to put the spring perches on top and make it spring over.
Explorers use a 5 on 4.5 (at least I think it's 4.5, not 100% certain) lug pattern: I don't know what F150's use.
