25 yrs in volunteer service. Instructor II at the Delaware State Fire School. I taught a basic firefighting skills class today, tomorrow and next weekend.

hell I am getting old too.... kinda got offerd a chief spot in another county they are vol really thinking about it..... I am not getting any younger.... pass the torch... my last stucture kicked my a!@

Ya know as soon as I don't get an adrenaline rush at 2am when the pager goes off, I am hanging up my helmet too. The only difference is that I have almost a 5 minute ride before I get on a truck.

thats hard s~!@# that truck best not leave before i get there ....i useally get first on scene and inital attack being up front is great but i could sleep for 2 days after
