Flathead V8 powered Motorcycle
Anyone see a flattie V8 powered motorcycle ? Looks like a great cruiser and of course it would have that unmistakable Flathead 8 exhaust sound.
Honest Charley Flathead Ford V8 Motorcycle
In addition to all things automotive, including trucks of course, I''ve also been a big motorcycle fan over the years.
In fact I have two of them:
'67 Matchless G15CS Scrambler- also known as a Desert Sled. It came from the factory in England with a Norton 750 cc twin (those things are long stroke Hemi's) squeezed into a Matchless frame. I'm currently restoring it
'78 Yamaha SR 500....it has the big Yamaha 4 stroke single, street bike version . lots of torque
Any other Sask./Mb. members who like Fords and vintage motorcycles ?

That bike looks pretty cool. I am into bikes also, although mine is not exactly vintage. Right now I am working on a 1980 Kawasaki KZ1000 E2. A couple of years ago I reserected a 1978 & 79 Goldwings.

Those old Kawasaki 1000 fours were the King of motorcycle performance fro a number of years and were also the base for the Kawa police motorcycle bike.
Hard to beat a Goldwing for highway touring.

I`ve always liked them but even an old Goldwing with 100,000 kms on it is still worth a small fortune.

The Goldwings were nice and I had planned on keeping one but when the guy showed up to have a look at the one for sale he had to have both, so he had to pay for both. Turned out to be an excellent deal for me. That money is still financing my fun stuff.

I believe there is the top model Boss Hoss that puts out 502 hp from it's 502 cube (crate) Big Rat Chevy.
There is also the standard engine ...the Chevy 4300 V6.
I wouldn't want to try a full throttle start on either one of them.

Last time I was in the US, I saw one of the *57* Belaire Boss Hoss trikes with a LS1 putting out 500hp
(only picture I have)
