5.4l

I found a 5.4L engine, trans, wiring harness and computer for $650. Is there anyway I can fit this into my 1985 F150?? I realize it would take some customizing but I would really like the fuel injection. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Is there a way? Yes. Of course, it's gonna take some modifications.

My friend has a 68 Ford truck with a 4.6/4R70W out of a 1998 or 1999 F-150 in it. Also used the rear end out of it. He got it like that, so I don't know what all had to be done, but it's definitely unique.

There was a guy on here that had a DOHC 4.6L in a 1980s truck and I cant remember who it was. If anyone has any ideas let me know. I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

That'd be sweet. You can get those engines fairly easy, too. Wanna go fast? DOHC 4.6. Wanna tow a lot? 5.4 SOHC.

I think it's cool to see stuff like this. My friend's truck also had the complete interior from the 1999 F-150. Seats, steering wheel, etc. Hope ya find out what u need to know.
