Speedometer question
I have a 78 and I got a speedometer out of a 75 and I was wondering if it would still be accurate given that mine has both kilometers and mph on it. Also the one out of the 75 is full gauge and I was wondering if I would be able to make the oil pressure and alt gauges work.

The speedo will work fine. In order to use the whole cluster assy from the '75, you will need the wiring harness for a fully instrumented truck of your vintage ('78-79) - might be wrong on the exact years, but someone on here will know for sure. I do know the harnesses are different between the clusters, as well as various years. You could, however, remove the speedo from the cluster assy and install it in your cluster, providing the high beam jewel is present in the '75 speedo. Did I make any sense, here?lol
