Need Advice On a Chip.

Hey guys, I have a 2007 F-150 XLT 2WD 4.6 Crew Cab with about 9000mi, A K&N Air Filter on it with a Magnaflow exhaust. I was surfing the forums here and Youtube and found alot of hits on the Edge Evolution Tuner. I checked it out and it seems okay Edge Performance Module Evolution Programmer and Tuner for Ford F150 4.6 L and 5.4 L asking $400 for it. It also looks really easy to install. I am not a Tech person when it comes to this, (Installation or Phraseology) so please bear with me. What do you guys think of the tuner, is it decent are their better ones out there. I should also mention I live in California and would also like to keep my warranty valid. Any advice is appreciated.

The edge is the preferred programmer on this board. If you have to go in for dealer service or warranty issues return your truck to the stock program and remove the programmer. More than likely the dealer will try and blame any issues on an aftermarket item like a tuner.

You should also consider an X3 from SCT. SCT Automotive Performance Products.. Very good products for Fords. We carry all the SCT products and have set up reduced FTE member pricing. Give us an email and we will get you over some FTE member pricing.
