Random plastic chunk in intake manifold.

Random plastic chunk in intake manifold.
Well I took my engine out to take to the dealership to extract the broken plugs on my 04 screw (I'm cheap like that). I came across something VERY interesting. There was a piece of broken plastic wedged between the intake and the cyl head
. Imagine my surprise. I'm guessing it's been there since day one but who knows maybe the intake was off before. It definitely would have impeded airflow so I'm hoping for a nice hp gain with that mess out of the way.
Anyone else come across something odd like that?
