Found the clunk
I said in another thread that I had a clunk in the front end when turning from lock to lock or when in 4X4 and I couldn't find it. Welll,I took it to my Les Schwab dealer here and had them look at it really well and was told that it was in remarkably good shape for 104K,but he had found that the front sway bar was loose and the bolt holding one side needed to be tightened over two turns and also that it would probably be best that I replace the steering damper.. Took it home and it really did feel better going down the freeway and I even noticed that it didn't wander quite as much.. It still wanders some tho.. They will be replacing the damper and tightning the sterring box a little bit next week..
