The OP said "own", so for all of you "I'll buy one that's really really expensive---then sell it" peeps......choose again....(haha).

For pricelessness, rarity, and the occasional head-turning jaunt and road-screaming fun---I'll have to go with the 1970 Plymouth hemi 'cuda (426 hemi, of course).......I'm not talking a restored one either.....I'm talking one that's original and rarely driven with say, 10000 or 20000 miles on the OD and lovingly maintained and stored.

For off-road capability and homestead defense and the occasional jaunt in the middle of nowhere, I'll have to go with the 1944 Mark V Panther Ausf. G tank. Germany's answer to the T-34.
