05 Air conditioning Problem
My 05 diesel powered truck has a problem of keeping the air coming thru the panel vents. It starts out fine but will shift to the defrost vent or shuffle back and forth between them sounding like a helicopter in the cab. This truck has EATC. I have checked the vacuum motor for the panel, it's O.K. Vacuum pump is working properly. I have narrowed it down to the electric solenoid/vacuum manifold or the connection between it and the vacuum harness. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Thanks. David.

Thanks wiingnut. My head unit went out 2 years ago and was replaced under warranty, however I'm out of warranty now. My head unit would go out totally or it would work o.k. It was intermitent. But did not have the same symptoms as now. My air never quits, just goes back and forth between panel and defrost.
