Heater Core question

Please see my little drawing.. My truck has factory A/C and a 460

How should my heater core be hooked up?

Red Nipple, to teal 'valve' to purple water pump nipple... and the other hose yellow nipple to green nipple?

I am not sure on the direction of things.

(I said nipple..

)

Thanks Dennis. I've got an old Motor Manual on HVAC, but no vehicle specific layouts, just general information on how the systems work.
