Don't buy Glowshift

I bought and just installed Glowshift gauges, read all the bad stuff listed on this site and did it anyway.........Well boys let me tell you........they were right.......buy another gauge, for a myriad of reasons, pay a little more and buy a better company..........believe me you will be happier in the long run and not as frustrated.................

Well boys............they say the pod is custom match.......well it wasn't.......and you have to screw it to your existing pillar.......no where did they say anything about that..........the site says everything included, not so in my case......the directions were very poor, as far as the pyro gauge is concerned.......they just say drill a hole and that is all.........no info on how big the hole should be.........the directions say next to just thread the pyro in............what about tapping the hole..........have no idea..........I go to online service.........they tell me to buy a tapping kit at the hardware store....I tell them just give me the size of hole or drill bit size.........again they say just buy a kit.............the online directions are the same.........oh.......also the colors on two of the three gauges........don't work all around the complete gauge........one gauge has great color the othere two only partially light up...........so anyway I'm not happy and all this is only my feelings and opinions. The worst thing is ...........no service after the sale..........they just don't care.........again just my opinion

Bummer Dude. I hate that for ya. I love the Hewitt gauges I have and they are cheaper than most, and after sale support they are great, I ruined one of my pressure gauges and they rebuilt it for free. All my fault to boot.

I have the Hewitt's. Contact Bruce Dankmeyer via phone call. He will hook you up. He even custom made some for me. They will do anything you want. My prices were $30.00 for a pressure gauge (boost, fue, oil etc)and $45.00 for a double boost gauge (2 in 1). The Pyrometer was $125. That included the thermocouple and all I needed to hook it up. He even sent me a whole bunch of extra 4mm hose, which is bigger than the 1/8" you get at the parts store. Even sent alot of straigh, 45* and 90* quick connect connections.

That is the only place I will ever buy a gauge again. I had one of mine get stopped up from using it as a Back Pressure gauge and he fixed it and sent a bunch of filters back for me to use all for free.

They are in Cali so don't be in a hurry though. He had to build mine for me before he shipped. They even custom made a fuel isolator for me for fuel pressure.

Great place!!!!!

Sorry to here you had a bad experience. I bought the pillar pod and gauges from glowshift and haven't had any problems yet. I did have to paint the pillar, and it attached to existing pillar with screws, but I think that's how all of them are. So far they're working great.
