Speedometer Quit working
Hi guys I just bought a 93 f150 for dirt cheap and I'm starting to fix it. The speedo on this thing bounces like a pair of DDs and I'm wondering what would cause it. I figured maybe the speed sensor but I wasn's sure exactly where it's located and also my odometer still works so I wasn't sure if that would rule out anything. I know on the old fords no speedo = no odometer as well but wasn't sure on the newer ones. Also, I've noticed that I'm losing oil pressure when driving. Replaced the sending unit but no change. Does it after warming up and when braking. I know the front main is leaking pretty bad could that be the culprit or is it time for a new crank and bearings. No knocking at all even after gauge shows no pressure, but it's got 175k so wasn't sure. Any suggestions? Thanks
