Talking Downpipe is finally in!

I got it Yesterday and after I got the truck back from getting all 4 ball joints, front brakes, and tires on this morning, I put it in! 203* thermostat as well. Haven't had a chance to take her for a run yet and check temps, but looking forward to it tomorrow!

I also just put mine in, on Saturday. I was not looking forward to removing the old one, but it came out real easy. I didn't even have to cut it up above like I've read you have to. I couldn't find a good angle to get the sawzall that would cut all the way through with an 8" blade. The firewall bent pretty easy, but it doesn't look quite as good as I'd hoped. Removing the cat was what took forever. It would not separate from the pipe behind it. When I finally got it apart, I couldn't get the new pipe slid in as the clamp had squeezed the pipe some. Lots of heat and prying finally got it so it would go together.

I didn't notice a big difference. A little more turbo whistle at slightly lower RPMs is all. I don't have an EGT guage so I won't know what the difference was there. It'll be worth it though when I get other mods done.

I had a pig of a time getting the old one out and new one in. I only had a 6 inch blade which didn't help. Once it was in pieces, it was easy. I have to post back after I take her for a ride.

You should only have to bend the lip where the pieces were joined

Didn't measure, I just tried it and pushed things out of the way. It still didn't fit, so I kept repeating that 2 step process until it did. I suppose in total it wasn't too much. It was just a pain. Still woth it though.
