77 F-150 engine swap
My fiend is performing an engine swap between a 77 F-150 4x4 and a 78 F-250 4x4 the 150 has a 300 and the 250 has a 400M. Are there any differences between the two trucks like motor towers and engine position? Also i here all this talk with the highboy was this available in the F-150?

Yes the towers are different, but since you have both trucks you should have no trouble at all. The trans mount may need to be shifted back but the holes are there to allow for that. Drive shafts may be different in leanth but again you have a donor truck so no trouble.Have fun
