Truck has been running rough, the idle is high, running rich, and when I get on the gas the check enginee flashes. HAvent been able to find a way to pull the codes anything anyone can say about this?
You will have to pull the codes. Some places like Autozone may do it for free. However you can pull them yourself. Go to fordfuelinjection.com and get all the info.
My guess would be the fuel pressure regulator. When mine went out, it was allowing 90 PSI to the injectors. Just dumping raw fuel down the pipe. There is a tire valve on the fuel rail to check your pressure with. I believe it should be around 30-40. Good luck.
Yall really think that I should get codes even though my check engine light only blinks and never really stays on? once i get on the gas it will blink but as soon as I go easy on it it stops the blinking!
If the light turns on at all, there are codes to pull. Even if it is only on for a half a second, the computer has stored an error code. Pull them and let us know what they are.
