Mustang Hemi Bronco
I was just thinking about potential projects and all of the sudden this I dea popped into my head, what about taking a 1980-1990 bronco because thay are cheap and easy to come by like this : 86 Ford Bronco For Sale or Trade shortining the chassis and putting a 79-93 LX mustang body on it like this: 86 Ford Bronco For Sale or Trade
and putting a new Hemi in it like this:
eBay Motors: 2006-2007 DODGE RAM 1500 5.7L HEMI ENGINE WITH MSDS (item 120248671177 end time Apr-22-08 08:24:03 PDT)
With a 5-spd Rockwells twin turbos and a"funny car" cage. Sound like a good idea?

Hey if the chebby lovers can put a camaro on a blazer frame I can certianaly do the same with a Mustang and Bronco.

You want the real thing, you have to go back to the 1950's (thru 1958) or the 1960's.
First Chrysler Hemi: 1951 331 cid = The valve covers said: Chrysler Fire Power. By 1958 it had grown to 392 cid.
Replaced by "the wedge" in 1959. Re-introduced (mainly for NASCAR) in 1964 = 426 cid.

Maybe I should get an Ex Don Garlits 392 Hemi. His shop is about an hour away from my house. With that power it would go over the mud!
