superduty balljoint question
Can the greasless bottom balljoints, be drilled and tapped, to accept grease fittings? I thought I read somewhere that they could. My balljoints are ok for now. I thought maybe, I could extend the life of them if I could fit them with grease fittings.

You probably could, but I think you'd put some metal shavings in the packing and the threads would be really thin, maybe one or two threads total.

I drilled and tapped my uppers for zerks,put grease on the drill bit before drilling,this catches the shavings and same with the tap put grease on it before tapping,the zerks are only in by 2 or 3 threads but that's fine they won't come out.
