Radio Mounting

Struggling to find a good location to mount a CB & 2 Meter radio. Have them in front of the center console. Changed the midle seat out and added the center console and I gave up some space between the dash and console. The radios will fit and are in a handy location, but they rattle on the dash or console on bumpy roads and I can't hang the mics on the radios. I don't have a sunroof or roof console. Is that my answer?

well you can always try that i can't see why it wouldn't hurt, could they also fit behind your center console?

yep, I could mount them on the back of the center console. I use the 2 meter rig a fair amount and was a little worried about turning around to adjust the thing.
Also have enough room to mount them inside the center console, but was afraid of the heat. Really didn't want the annoyance of adding a fan. Have external speakers, so would still be able to hear them.
