lol focus' are great handling cars even on 3 tires, dont ask how i know. my exwife has a 2001 accord with the k24 that car hauls for a 4 cylinder. handles great except for that torque steer, and this is why i will never own one.

what engine does it have, please say the k series. they have the exhaust behind the engine....can you say sleeper. hide the turbo behind the engine then run the intake to look like a cold air.

eeeeehhh? maybe.
but it was only non-affiliated with Carrol Shelby for 1/2 a year.
65 K-code 289 had 271hp bone stock a 65 Shelby only technically upped the hp to 306. The only difference between the 2 engines were the aluminum intake and tri y headers. Everything else was exactly the same.

Adrian,
What makes CATIA so special. Doesn't look to extraordinary to me, I was just reading up on it, and the only thing i like is that it also is a CAM program. It looks cool, but the modeling and the analysis isn't that special, it think.
Plus its french.
Enlighten me.

I also like Solidworks, it is really userfriendly, but start getting large assemblies, or even a complex part (try doing complex surfaces with it... ugh!) and it becomes difficult.
Catia on the other hand becomes easier, the more complex the part and assemblies become!
Catia also has other benefits for me, like inbuilt human models where you can check accessability/ergonomics.
i.e. Want to know if you can reach a bolt with a spanner when you are desigining, insert a 95th percentile male (a fat/tall guy) with a spanner, and see!
Also from a CAD perspective, the structure in which changes are made are very logical (and easy to edit/adjust)
All that said - I am not the greatest person on Catia (I can get by), as I have 2 guys that do it all for me now. I have used Solidworks a lot though...
And for what "you guys" would be doing on CAD, Solidworks would be a better choice.
As for it being French, well... it doesn't bother me so much

I thought that the 65 & 66 cars had a suspension package also?

very intresting... This is a FORD TRUCK OFF ROAD rorum and were talkin about honda civics... how completly and totally off topic... the only time they should be brought up is when some body takes a pic of a truck parked on them... Alright back to all seriousness... Im just checkin in seein what ive missed.

rear traction bars and koni shocks is the only suspension components that are different. The shelbys were a little lighter because they didnt have any sound deadening or undercoating IIRC.
There really wasnt much difference between a 65-6 fastback and a 65-6 Shelby. The same can also be said for the 67-8 and the 69-70s.
Interesting fact: ALL 70 Shelbys we originally 69s that were not sold in the dealerships. They were shipped back to Ford and resent with 70 Window tags and a lower price.

Thats cool I just remember something about them set up more for the track then the street with a stiffer suspension and then in '67 they "detuned" it for a cushier ride on the street.
I thought they did that with all of the '69/70 cars?
