EFI questions

I am new here. Let me say first off that I have a line on getting an 1974 f250 crewcab. The guy says it is an 428...

I have been trolling around on here on how to identify it. Dampner, CJ, stampings, 352, 152 backwards, ribbing on block, stroke measurment, crank stamping, etc. Just reading around here is alot of good information.

I have done Megasquirt on a AE86 before, so that will be the brain of it. How ever I am looking for an EFI intake for the supposed 428. I have seen suggestions of the using an performer or victor JR, intake and having it milled/drilled. Then the variable of having the fuel hit the intake valve right, etc.

So my questions are:

Who has done it?
Links?
What manifold?
What throttle body?
Is there anyone making a production EFI intake setup?
Anyone have any turbo setups?

I am looking for information. Multiport, injectors, setups information, need some info.

Thanks

The numbers 352 were stamped on 352's,360's,390's,428's

Stroke measurement or Crankshaft ID is the only way to verify because some guys see it printed somewhere that 352 was on 428's they automatically state it is 428.
A common occurance is 360's magically turn into 390's when the truck goes up for sale

Good for you doing your homework first.

EFI requires a computer to operate things and from what I recall different heads than carburetion heads

You would basically require all the components from one truck to place in another

Megasquirt...is my ECU, all I need is a coolant temp, map, and O2 sensors. Anyone with specs on drilling/milling intake for Multiport?
