[updated:LAST EDITED ON 11-Feb-02 AT 06:53 PM (EST)]These 302 will make plenty of power, for a fairly reasonable price, it may take some shopping around, but the performance goodies are out there for these smallblocks. A good cam setup, ported or either new heads make a difference, along with some headers, an opened exhaust and a 4bbl. If you like to be able to tune your truck infintely get a good holley 4bbl, if you just like bolt on performance get an edelbrock. For an Intake i'd recommend anything thats dual plane so you get plenty of mid range and upper end power.Crane makes a nice cam, but off hand i can't remember any part numbers. Headers i'm also clueless about, along with exhaust systems in general. But these little smallblocks can rival a bigblock in most accounts and with the right goodies (aka power adders) can sometimes outrun the big blocks if they aren't using power adders.
