Spline count

Hey all, I need some help with the spline count on my Ford 9".I was just under my truck and took this off of my tag. It was dark so not all of the numbers may be correct but here goes. 10M AG2 6ED
3.00 9 344D
From my thread searching I think my wirst two numbers may be completely wrong. If you guys need more info I can look at the tag again tomorrow.

Best way to tell is pull an axle out. It's either going to be 28 or 31 spline if its original.

I wouldn't be surprised if that 10M is actually an WDM

really, part of me thought it would be a 28 spline because everything on tyhe truck seemed to be ordered by the cheapest farmer in the world. Oh well, good to know, now I can get started trying to find a new centre unit.

This morning I looked again and noticed there is also a 28 spline WDM axle.

There are 3 different areas I have to look at and it gets a little confusing. aside from scanning and posting maybe Numberdummy can chime in and verify it.
