I dynoed an engine out to about 500 ft/lb torque around 4000rpm and 400hp at 4500 rpm. Actually might have been 4500 and 5000 but don't have it in front of me. The cam says it's range is 2000-5500rpm. Now will this all be too much for a C6? I am also thinking of converting to a manual. What are my options and the pros/cons for them? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks much!

Do you want auto or stick??? I was told the C6 in my 84 F150 would be able to handle around 500 hp the way I got it built. It is completely overhauled everything new or rebuilt in it and it has a stage 2 shift kit. I would suggest a shift kit if you go with this tranny, I can get rubber when it kicks in to 2nd and I only have about 275hp. I hope this helps, Good Luck.
