glasspack

glasspack

Im gonna put a glass pack in my EX and have it coming out before the rear tire. Im kinda concerned that i will get a ticket. when i go past a cop and stay off the gas, it will be to loud?

Be careful which glasspack you get. The core of Cherry Bomb glasspacks neck down a lot and are a restriction point. Flowtech red hots and Thrush glasspacks supposibly don't neck down. If you get a long glasspack )over 30" case) it shouldn't sound too loud. Are you exiting your exhaust in the stock location?

Exiting in front of the rear tire is about the loudest exit you can get. I used to have my exhaust exiting there but ditched it after my header install. The exhaust is exiting in front of the rear tire with an FM50 SUV on my dads truck and it is loud. Neither of us have ever gotten a ticket. If you want to use a glasspack I would strongly recommend exiting out the back or stock location.
