Yesterday I hit the ditch unintenionally. (long story) In any case the ditch dropped about a foot and than was a shear wall about three feet tall. After that, the ground slopped up about 30 degrees for ten feet to a line of trees. I was doing about 30 MPH (OK, maybe 40) and the truck ended up with the nose buried in the trees. If you seen the ditch, you would never have thought the truck could have climbed the wall. It should have bonced off or turned over! I had to put it in four wheel just to get it out.
After getting it back on the road, I was amazed to find very little damage. Other than scratches the only thing I could see was my fender flare cracked the bottom three mount screws. (fixed allready)
Now the problem. When driving straight down the road, I must have the steering wheel turned about 90- degrees to the left. (I hit the ditch on the right) I looked underneeth and I cant see any thing bent. I measured from side to side at the front and back of the front wheels and the tow-in is about 1/2 inch. I think thats about right. The truck drives fine with no pulling. What do you think?
