Hello all. I'm new to this forum but this is not my first Ford Truck.
I just bought a beater 1981 Ford F-150 Stepside with the 300 L6 and 4sp on the floor. It needs a LOT of work, but I enjoy that sort of thing.
The last Ford Truck I had was a 1981 F-100 with the 255 V8...what a great truck, if some idiot hadn't totaled it from the rear doing 60mph (I was doing 10mph about to make a right turn with my blinker on) I'd still have that truck.
I'm looking forward to learning a lot from this site and hopefully contributing.

Nice to have you here! 
Learn all you can here and you will enjoy fixing up that '81. It amazes me how one can take care of a vehicle for years and one idiot can wipe it all out in about 2 seconds. Such is life. Enjoy the boards and be sure to checkout your state chapter: Florida Chapter - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums
